Iran children film festival releases animated features lineup

The 30th edition of the International Film Festival for Children and Youth in Isfahan has announced the animated features lineup.

According to the information center of the event, the selection committee selected eight films for the official lineup of the animated features section.

The lineup includes ‘Amin and Akvan’ directed and produced by Zohal Razavi, ‘The World of Bags’ directed and produced by Hamid Nakhaei, ‘Butterflies’ Secret’ directed and produced by Ali Tanhaei, and ‘Release form Heaven’ directed and produced by Ali Nouri-Oskouei.

‘The Holy List’ directed and produced by Mohammad-Amin Hamedani, ‘Calila e Dimna’ directed by Alireza Tavakkoli-Bina, ‘Iron Head’ directed by Gholamreza Ahmadi, and Molanaseredin Tales’ directed by Jamal Rahmati.

Rahmati’s work, produced by late Iranian film critic and producer Ali Moallem, will be displayed out of competition.

The selection committee for the (non-cinematic) feature films is comprised of Mohammad-Ali Safoura, Amir-Masoud Alamdari, Saeedeh Zakeri, Seyyed-Ali Mofazeli and Vahid Nasiriyan.

The 30th edition of the International Film Festival for Children and Young Adults is slated for June 26-July 6 in the historic city of Isfahan.
